Lauren Grenfell-Scott
Vocals
Lauren (or Loz) is our newest member, an incredible vocalist who has been singing forever! Lauren is involved in Project 365, a local music project focused around mental health.
Michael Braendler
Bass & Vocals

Michael Braendler started learning classical piano at the age of 10 and guitar at age 13. Michael is the arranger of the band, creating some amazing versions of well known songs.
Brigid O'Rielly
Tenor Sax & Flute
​
Brigid began learning classical flute at the age of 7 after being previously inspired by "Humphrey B. Bear goes to the orchestra" at age 3.
Ben Thomas
Trumpet & Flugel
​
Ben started out in the Bairnsdale Brass Band when he was a kid before expanding into the world of music, having played in ska bands, carnival bands and swing bands.




Ian Wade
Guitar & Vocals
​
Ian has worked extensively as a session musician playing all styles of music. Since completing a Diploma in Music (Jazz & Popular), Ian has taken up various teaching positions, while continuing to focus on his professional performing career.
Maren Hazell
Alto Sax & Dancing
​
Maren comes from a musical family and has taught primary school music around her full time job as a busy mum of three. Always smiling, Maren’s flawless dance moves on stage with Ben almost exceed her awesome sax playing in Sweet Buzz!
Gary McDonald
Drums / Percussion
​
Gary is a professional drummer and drum tutor based in Albury. He has extensive knowledge in various musical styles, teaches in various music education institutions and has written two textbooks on the subject and has a strong music theatre performance background

Glenn Southgate
Trombone
​
Glenn is a fifth generation Wangaratta lad who is an original member of the Moomba band. Glenn has toured both nationally and overseas with the Royal Australian Navy Band as a trombonist and is also a talented barber.
